Creative Technology Northland has new branding thanks to a creative work experience collaboration with NGEN, funded by Creative Northland.
Working with NGEN, a small group of CTN core group collaborated on a new brand identity and logo to uplift the network and raise the profile of the wider sector.
An extra outcome was to support one of NGen’s students, Aaydin Henry to gain some industry-relevant work experience as the lead creator on the project.
Aaydin is passionate about graphic design and was given the opportunity to work with CTN meaningfully from initial concept design to the design of individual collateral. He was part of NGEN Tech’s Tui cohort which started in May 2022 and finished in September 2022.
Aaydin was actively mentored by Leonard McDougall and Te Piha Niha who are members of the CTN network and leaders within NGEN. Their course runs for 20 weeks and covers a variety of digital tech subjects that aim to help rangatahi get into work or further study.
Jesse Gray of Gray Media, upgraded the CTN website as part of the rebranding process. Maggie Buxton, with Trent Morgan and Jesse were the partners with NGEN in the process. Providing valuable industry feedback throughout the project.
CTN appreciates the support from Creative Northland which has enabled this fabulous digital facelift.
